This time i will share how to chang the name or identity of the router, user management, and services management in Routerboard
Purpose :
1. Can know how to change the name or identity of the router
2. Can know how to create a username and breaks it into the group
3. To implement theuser admin can only access from IP besides our laptop
Materials :
1. PC or Laptop
2. Routerboard
3. UTP Cable
4. Power Cable
Steps :
Change Name or Identity Routerboard
1. Remote use Winbox, then connect with mac address
2. Select Sytem -> Identity
3. Change the name for identity routerboard, then select OK
4. Change the name Routerboard succesfull
User Management
1. Select System -> Users
2. Select icon + for create new user
3. Then create name for new user, in Group select Full, after that select OK
4. User has been created
5. Then double click on the user admin
6. Type the IP Address that is allowed to enter the user admin
7. Log in used Winbox with user admin
8. User admin can still be log in
9. Change IP Address of your PC or Laptop
10. Log in again used Winbox with user admin
11. MikroTik can't log in
Services Management
1. Log in MikroTik used Winbox with User1
2. Select IP -> Services
3. Double click on telnet
4. Change the port it into 8080
5. Enable telnet client on windows : Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features
6. Open CMD and write command like picture below
7. Log in with User1
8. Log in succesfull
