This time i will be sharing a tutorial remote MikroTik RouterOS in VirtualBox using Webfig, Winbox and Telnet.
Check it out!
Purpose :
1. Can know a kind of steps to remote MikroTik RouterOS in VirtualBox
Materials :
1. Laptop or PC
2. VirtualBox
3. Hyper Terminal
4. Browser
5. Winbox
6. Putty
7. MikroTik
Steps :
1. Open VirtualBox and select network
2. Change network adapter be a host only
3. Log in to MikroTik with username admin and password (empty)
4. Set the IP Address in MikroTik with command ip address add address
5. View the IP Address in MikroTik with command ip address print
6. Open network and sharing center in windows
7. Select adapter VirtualBox Host-Only Network -> Properties then select IPV4
8. Set the IP Address in Laptop or PC for remote MikroTik
9. Ping to Laptop or PC from MikroTik, has connected or not connected
10. Open CMD with run as administrator and ping to MikroTik from Laptop or PC
11. Create user that use for log in. if you wan't create user is no problem, because you can log in use admin
12. The reset the Mikrotik
13. Try log in use user that had been created
Remote MikroTik use Telnet
1. Open control panel in windows and select Programs and Features then select Turn Windows features on or off
2. Active features telnet client in windows, before you remote with telnet
3. Open CMD in windows and write command telnet (ip MikroTik) in CMD
4. Log in to Mikrotik with username and password that already created, or can also use admin and password (empty)
5. Mikrotik succesfull to remote and ready to use
Remote MikroTik use SSH
1. Open putty and write the ip address MikroTik with port 22 and type connection SSH, then select open
2. Select yes to next remote MikroTik
3. Log in with username and password that already created, or can also use admin and password (empty)
4. MikroTik already succesfull to remote and ready to use
Remote MikroTik use Winbox
1. Open Winbox, connect with MAC Address or IP Address
2. Log in with username and password that already created, or can also use admin and password (empty), then select connect
3. Select New Terminal to show MikroTik terminal
4. MikroTik already succesfull to remote and ready to use
Remote MikroTik use Webfig
1. Open the browser and write ip addres MikroTik, then log in with username and password that already created, or can also use admin and password (empty)
2. Remote MikroTik is succesfull and ready to use
Remote MikroTik use Hyper Terminal
1. Open Hyper Terminal and write the name, then select OK
2. Write the IP Address of MikroTik and port 23, then select OK
3. Log in with username and password that already created, or can also use admin and password (empty)
4. Remote MikroTik is succesfull and ready to use
